Newly re-located animal feeding operation for wintering replacement heifers was moved out of a creek bottom to this slope away from the creek. Includes a vegetative treatment area to insure runoff does not reach the stream, water tanks, solar pump, well, creek crossing, and bunks. K&D Livestock, Inc., near Stacey, MT. The Kolka family has participated in the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP). Practices have included forest stand improvement, range monitoring, prescribed grazing, stock water developments, fencing, and relocation of a winter animal feeding operation. Custer County, MT.
